EDOT Reads: Citizen, Faithful Discipleship in a Partisan World
The Health and Justice Advocacy Network’s(HJAN) Vote Faithfully initiative kicks off with EDOT Reads: Citizen, Faithful Discipleship in a Partisan world, authored by our own Bishop C. Andrew Doyle.
EDOT READS will be offered as a Zoom series beginning on Wednesday May 22, 7:00 pm and continue through June. The first session will feature a special “Meet the Author” with Bishop Doyle sharing his insights and highlights of the book.
There will be two discussion tracks offered to choose from for the next four sessions that cover the book: Wednesdays, 7:00 pm, led by the Rev. Katie Wright; and Thursdays at noon, led by the Rev. Daryl Hay (See dates below). The discussion sessions, which include a study guide, are intended to be theologically informed, nonpartisan, and not policy-specific to help us understand how our faith takes us into the public square. Everyone is invited.
