Texas Health Policy Poll on Access and Affordabilty

A large majority of Texans say it’s very important for candidates to address issues that make health care more affordable, and more than half say state lawmakers should increase state spending on health care. Those are just some the results of a new statewide Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) poll on health care access and affordability in Texas.

New analysis: Record enrollment in 2022 Affordable Care Act health insurance across Texas fueled by big increase in federal financial assistance

A record number of Texans enrolled in Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance for 2022 thanks in large part to the greatest amount of federal financial assistance available to date to help pay for monthly premiums. That’s one of the findings of an Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF) analysis of new ACA health insurance enrollment data released by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services combined with data from previous ACA enrollment periods.

EHF launches the Texas Accountable Communities for Health Initiative

Episcopal Health Foundation has launched the Texas Accountable Communities for Health Initiative – an $8 million multi-year initiative to support the development of financially sustainable, multi-sector community health collaboratives in six Texas communities focused on addressing the social determinants of health.
